How were they built?
From the placing of a centre pole to marking out the site using a long piece of string, Irwin’s theories are based around SIMPLE and PRACTICAL measures for creating such massive structures.
What tonnage of stone would be required? How many people? How long would it take?
Would modern day drystone skills be sufficient to build such a monumental project, or have the skills required been lost in the mists of time?
